Law student at Georgetown University before enrolling in SSP.  Worked at State Department as a Presidential Management Fellow while finishing SSP.

Current Position
Executive Director, Women In International Security (WIIS)

“When I entered the SSP program, I was also a student at Georgetown Law, where I was focusing on international law and human rights.  The SSP program allowed me to focus on the linkages between security and many other issues -- human rights, humanitarian crisis, environmental degradation, migration, pandemics, etc.  My courses led me to explore conflict prevention, resolution, and peacebuilding, and women's role in these processes.  This knowledge paved the way for a career in both government and NGO's, examining many aspects of peace and security.”
