"I chose the SSP because, while there are many masters programs geared toward International Relations, there is only one that emphasizes the study of security.  I knew that if I chose the SSP I’d delve further into the issues about which I truly cared.  The opportunity to study with world renowned scholars and top tier policy makers was another plus.   Going forward, I know that the SSP has provided me with not only a firm grounding in the field of security but also the contacts and skills needed for a successful career."
