Academic Degree Requirements
The base requirements for each student to earn an M.A. in Security Studies are as follows:
- Thirty-six graduate credits (traditionally 12 courses of three credits each) in courses approved in advance by the Security Studies Program (SSP);
- A cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 (a “B” average);
- Fulfillment of the core course(s), concentration, and distributional requirements; and
- Passing of the comprehensive examination.
