Academic Degree Requirements

The base requirements for each student to earn an M.A. in Security Studies are as follows:

• Accumulate thirty-six graduate credits (12 standard, three credit courses) in courses approved in advance by the Security Studies Program (SSP);
  
• A cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 (a “B” average);
• Fulfill the core course(s), concentration, and distributional requirements; and 
• Pass the comprehensive examination.

Specific Course Requirements:

• For Students Matriculating Spring 2008 and Before
• For Students Matriculating Fall 2008 and After
